Q: Do I have to have Flash installed to see the videos? What version?

A: Yes, you must have Flash Player 8 installed.

Q: The video is jerky. What do I do?

A: You may have a slow connection, or your computer may just be too busy. Try shutting down other windows and applications to free up memory. If that doesn’t help, pause the video so that that it can fully load, then hit play again. It should play smoothly now.

Q: Is Web Tasting Room a wine retailer?

A: No, we are not a wine retailer. Web Tasting Room invites our winery partners to share information about their wines, and provides wine buyers with a marketplace where they can purchase special offers from the winemakers. We do not buy, maintain, or sell wine inventory. Orders recorded on this website are forwarded immediately to our winery partners, who are responsible for sending you the wine. All customer service inquiries should be directed to the appropriate winery.

Q: Are wines available after the offering period?

A: Not on our site. Our winery partners agree to offer special Shipping Included pricing when they list their wines on our site. Once the offer period is over, the wines are no longer available on our website. However, the wines may be available on the winery partner’s site. Their website address is provided on their offer page.

Q: I checked your site on Thursday, and the wine of the week was already sold out.

A: Many wines are in short supply and will sell out quickly. To be sure that a wine is available, we recommend checking the site on Tuesday morning,when new offers are presented.

Q: Do you offer a wine club?

A: Not at this time. However, our shopping cart can maintain your personal information if you choose, which will allow you to log in and purchase new wines quickly.

Q: Are you discussion pages moderated? If so, why?

A: Common courtesy is required. Posts may be removed at the discretion of the management.

Q: Can you interview my favorite winemaker?

A: We hope so! Please feel free to either let us know about a winemaker you’d like to see appear in the Web Tasting Room, or ask the winemaker to drop us a line. Better yet, do both.

Q: Can I find my favorite wine on your site?

A: Same as above.

Q: I was interested in buying a wine shown on your website, but Parker (or whoever) only gave it 85 points.

A:Do you only go to movies approved by a critic?

A: Simple: Death to spammers! Kidding! Not.

Q: There is a problem with my order!

A: All of our winery partners are dedicated to excellent customer service. If there is any issue with your order, contact the winery as soon as possible. Since our winery partners sell the wines and ship them to you, you must contact them directly should questions or problems arise.
